The Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers to serve as advocates and become guardian ad litems for children from Navarro County who have been removed from their homes and placed in the custody of the state.  A CASA volunteer is assigned to each child and offers them support, guidance, and a voice in the court system that is not designed for children.  A CASA seeks to find a safe, permanent, loving, nurturing and happy home whether that is back with their parent or in an adoptive home.  The CASA acts as the eyes and ears of the court and always seeks the solution that is in the best interest of the child.
