The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are separate and distinct programs sharing a building, a director, and a Board of Directors. They both serve children in and from Navarro County…they both serve children who have been victims of abuse, neglect, or other crimes. Both programs are staffed by dedicated individuals who have been extensively trained…and if they did not exist, these children and families would be abandoned to a complex and intimidating legal system, to re-victimization by having to tell their story of abuse again and again, to a system where abusive or neglectful parents have all the rights and the child’s voice is lost, and to a lack of support, comfort, guidance, and counseling in the most frightening time of their lives.

The 10 Grand Country Jam is a dinner and concert event. It was created by a group of volunteers in 2012. The dinner and concert event is always on the first Saturday in August.
